Refund Policy

1. Purpose

This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be issued for bookings or services purchased for entertainment events in partnership with Giggy (collectively referred to as "Talent").

2. No Refunds for Change of Mind

Generally, deposits are non-refundable and if the Talent has confirmed the event and executes on their obligation outlined in the invoice then full payment of the invoice must be made.

  • Refunds can not be issued if the purchaser changes their mind about details of the event without providing proper notice and paying accompanying service fees to amend a booking invoice.
  • If a client is dissatisfied with the Talent service they may reach out to Giggy Entertainment services at tech@giggy.io for potential resolution options which may or may not include: a refunded deposit, a credit for future services or a waiver of service fees.
3. Event Postponement
  • Postponement: If an event is postponed to a new date, the client can leverage Giggy Entertainment services to:

    • Reschedule Talent and maintain vendor parity on new event date(s).
    • Request a Talent cancellation for potential refund of deposit.
  • Any postponement services rendered by Giggy Entertainment will be accompanied by a 3% service fee of booking total.
4. Refund Processing
  • Refund Method: Refunds will typically be issued using the same method of payment used for the original purchase.
  • Processing Time: Refunds may take a certain number of business days to process.
5. Exceptions

The event organizer reserves the right to make exceptions to this Refund Policy on a case-by-case basis.

6. Additional Provisions
  • Invoice customizations: The invoice may be adapted to outline specific booking or event procedures as well as specifications to resolve disputes. Any customizations to an invoice rendered will also incur a Giggy Entertainment service fee.

    • Exclusivity: The invoice may include exclusivity clauses restricting the Talent from performing at competing events within a specified timeframe or geographic area.
    • Marketing & Promotion: The invoice may outline marketing and promotion obligations for both parties.
7. Amendments

This policy may be amended from time to time at the discretion of Giggy Entertainment. Any amendments will be communicated to Talent, Bookers and Clients in writing.
